I am undertaking a LEED assessment on a large project in the UK. We have undergone the Design Stage Review (both preliminary and final) and have some outstanding issues to be appealed.

We are struggling somewhat with some of the comments recieved. Whilst we think that our approach is now correct , we lack confidence (LEED is new to us, and LEED generallyis unfamiliar in the UK) and would like some help/feedback from the USGBC prior to submission of the appeal since we can't afford to be unsuccessful again.

Does USGBC offer any sort of assistance or support? In the UK, for BREEAM assessments the BRE offer email assistance. Does USGBC offer anything similar?

If some 'informal' assistance is not possible from USGBC, I'm guessing we will need to submit a CIR/Interpretation request? Again I'm unfamiliar with this process and whether a CIR or Interpretation request is appropraite in this instance.

I have attempted to get some assistance from other LEED Users via the credit specific forum (my main concern is our approach to credit WEp1) but unfortunately have been unsuccessful in getting any replies as yet.

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Susie
