Hi Forum, can anyone confirm that a modular vegetated systems (plastic modules with ecomembrane, above ground) can count on the calculations for the vegetated surface, i would like to implement a reflective surface in compliance but also a figure from the owner like a logo, instead of using a construction material i want to suggest vegetated surface but I don't know if this complies with the credit.

I would think that this approach would contribute, provided it provides some contiguous area for habitat to actually thrive - I'm hesitant to say yes with certainty, not knowing what the logo looks like. If it is too discontiguous, it may be intepreted as being closer to individual planters rather than a modular greenroof system. Planters would still contribute as a nonroof strategy, but are not considered as vegatative roof. As stated in the guide: "Extensive or intensive vegetated roofs are eligible; roof planters contribute only if part of a vegetated roof system."
