How do you account for an existing roof greater than 3 years old that will remain? Can the aged values in the manufacturer's literature be used in the calculations?

You MAY be able to get away with that (probably depends on the actual age of the material vs. that 3 year number associated with the 3 year SRI value, the material itself, and the likelihood that the SRI value would be similar despite the age), but I would recommend testing the material to determine the value instead.
