If the 25,000 rated hours is on the program start ballast, and not the lamp, then most ballast’s life expectancy is 50,000 hours (manufacturers will actually tell you the life expectancy is doubled for every 10°C reduction in ballast case operating temperature). Did you ever clarify this issue completely? Thanks, Giulio

We submitted data for the rated life of the lamps, not the program start ballasts. Our documentation was approved by the reviewer.
