I'm just about to register a multiple building project. I understand you need to register each building separately but how to we register or group them as a block? The sooner anyone can give us some inside guidance on the multiple buidlings process for v3 the better. Is anyone on LEEDUser invovled with this guideline or know what's going on. Is it risky to follow the v2.2 guideline in the meantime?

Julian, you're aware that part one of the new MBCAG has been release, right? It's something we highlighted in the LEEDuser enews, and in another forum post.

Thanks Tristian I missed the e-news but founf the new guide thanks. Although I think we really want to know details of Part II and how to proceed with the single certification for multiple buidlings as one application. Our project will be in design now and under construction in 2011 so we may have to plan on going for individual applications unless a chance to adapt before final construction submission.

We are working on the certification of an Industrial Plant (LEED NC) composed of one main building (manufacturing) and 2 other auxiliary buildings (restrooms/changerooms + recycling and waste management). All buildings meet LEED´s MPR (all have the sufficient area and FTE), however these are independent, non-attached structures that do not share building systems. We are trying to establish whether we can consider these 3 buildings as 1 for the purpose of certification. Here are some of the issues we face: the main building used for manufacturing does not have any restrooms – all the restroom facilities have been located separate from the main structure; We plan on providing bicycle storage at the main entrance to the site – the main entrance to 2 of the 3 buildings are more than 50 feet away from the bike racks; and it goes on-and-on. In reality all three buildings really comprise one (in terms of functions). AGMBC does not seem to recognize this. Can we consider all the smaller auxiliary buildings as part of the main building, once All the facilities serve exclusively the same occupants?
