We have a factory of 4 buldings. All the FTEs/users from all buildings will be using the shower facilities of one of the buildings - bldg "P10". Therefore, the main users are the FTEs from the 3 other buildings, not P10's FTEs. How do I express that in WEp1 calculations? Should I simply make a group for those visitors (which will make me double count the FTEs, since they already being counted in the other buildings)? Are the showers, faucets, and toilets considered "process water" and I should be able to claim an ID credit, like Karen Blust stated to Susan Di Giulio in a similar topic?
Thanks!

Hi Marcio,
Hmm tricky. What are you certifying? All four buildings or just P10? If you are only certifying building P10, but all the buildings are using the "P10" showers then that would be all four buildings worth of FTEs. So in the uppermost box being fed from the Pforms, you would have your normal FTEs and visitors for P10 only. Then in the Usage groups box I would define a shower group that includes all four buildings worth of FTEs. Showers only use FTEs not visitors and visitor usage is different, so don't consider them visitors. They remain FTEs.
If you are certifying all 4 buildings, same logic applies except the Pform feed at the top would include all the FTEs already and your usage group for showers would simply echo those same FTEs. You won't actually be double counting because the calculation will use the usage groups you define. You would need enough shower capacity in P10 of course to accommodate all four buildings worth of FTEs.
And no, these fixtures aren't process water fixtures. An ID credit would only be achieved at over 40% reduction.

Thanks Michelle.
We are certifiying all 4 buildings. So if I got that right, the only thing I have to do is to create a group for those "extra FTEs" in the WE1 LEED online form for my P10 and that's it? I just have to sum up the FTEs from my other 3 buidings and whatever the sum is this will be my FTE group?

Yep. Just make sure that you include all four buildings worth of FTEs in your shower usage group.

If the buildings are not connected all LEED certifiable buildings among the four will have to be registered as separate projects. just for your reference. we had trouble on a project with multiple buildings when submitted for review.
