Does anyone know if GreenTag is a legitimate Product Certification?

Global GreenTag is legit. it is a multi Attribute assessment program and it does require ingredient disclosure to a third party assessor. it is mostly used in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It covers:

integrated Design
LCA for environmental and health impacts
Biodiversity
Corporate Social Responsibility

it also covers Toxicity pretty well, and end of life/design for disassembly and Durability issues. But we're Americans gosh darn it, so we just get to gave at it longingly from afar - not unlike how many of us gave at New Zealand, thinking "what if i just moved there...."
