Hello, I am currently doing a project and we want to attempt this credit, we can provide the needed amount of parking and charging equipment, with said equipment meeting the LEED standards, but is it okay or can we claim it even though the country has so little electric vehicles?

Hi Peko, the LEED requirements are just as they are stated - no one is going to look at how many EVs are in use locally. Ideally, more projects installing EV charging equipment will lead to more uptake in EV ownership, which is part of the credit intent.
That said, if you're thinking that those spaces will sit empty all day, you might look at the EV Ready option in the v4.1 version of this credit. That requires the project to install the electric infrastructure but not the chargers. It might be a better investment at this point.

Okay, thanks emily! but if I take the v4.1 version of this credit, will I need to update all other credits into the v4.1?

No, you can choose credits to upgrade to 4.1.
