Are you asking about a specific credit? For the v4.1 Renewable Energy credit, the definitions the LEED Glossary would apply:
Renewable Energy: energy sources that are not depleted by use. Examples include energy from the sun, wind, and small (low-impact) hydropower, plus geothermal energy and wave and tidal systems. energy sources that are not depleted by use. Examples include energy from the sun, wind, and small (low-impact) hydropower, plus geothermal energy and wave and tidal systems.
Renewable energy credit (REC): a tradable commodity representing proof that a unit of electricity was generated from a renewable resource. RECs are sold separately from electricity itself and thus allow the purchase of green power by a user of conventionally generated electricity.

If we were going to supply 100% Green E Recs to a building to cover all of their electrcicity usage how many LEED points does that qualify for? They are and would like to remain a LEED Platinum Level building.

Troy,
When you say "they are and would like to remain a LEED Platinum Level building" do you mean they are already certified under LEED EB O&M? For the draft version of O&M 4.1 the Renewable Energy and Carbon Offsets credit has been removed.
For new construction see the table for NC-v4.1 EAc5: Renewable energy over at
