Dear all,
I am targeting the Daylight credit by modelling based on Option 2. However, the simulation results show that the illuminance level over the threshold (3,000 lux). And we cannot use glare control devices: interior window blinds to exempt from the requirement of not exceeding higher lux level threshold. Please advise me what actions should I take in this case?
Thank you for your support.

Add exterior shading devices or other architectural elements to reduce the high illuminance levels. Try using option 1 but if you are getting that high of illuminance values you may not meet the requirements for the ASE. You could also try option 3.
If you designed the building and now are seeing it whether it meets the requirements for LEED, you will get this. The best way to ensure that a project meets any of the requirements for any LEED credit is to implement the performance requirements into the design. Conduct design analysis simulation ensuring the proposed design will meet the requirements.
