Happy Friday all!
Arizona's USGBC's Fall Summit is coming up on October 5th and we are looking for another GC to speak on our 'Waste Diversion in Arizona Construction' panel.
Here is the link to the event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/usgbc-arizona-fall-summit-2023-tickets-677663248017
It's going to be a great event starting out with a Women in Green Breakfast, hearing from trailblazers in the industry about the current state of green building and the opportunities & challenges.
'Waste Diversion in Arizona Construction' panel will bring together GC's and waste hauler representatives to discuss the construction and demolition waste landscape and the opportunities and challenges that are encountered for local waste diversion. With LEED credits at stake and increasing ordinances surrounding construction waste diversion, this panel aims to explore details of the issue, discuss options for change, and recommend future solutions. Myth to Bust: Waste diversion in Arizona is difficult and inefficient due to infrastructure and material recycling barriers.
Calling any GCs out there who are local to AZ or don't mind traveling that would like to be part of this discussion? We would love to hear from you! Thanks!
