How should a future process be taken into account? If a project has a space allocated for additional equipment (high heat gains, energy intensive) but it is unknown at what stage (during building operation) this may or may not be used - how should this be modelled? For example - It could be 5 years before anything happens (if it happens at all) - Should this be included in the energy model for internal heat gain purposes or any ECM if relateed to process energy? You probably have a bit of wiggle room on this one. The only similar analogy I can think of in LEED would be related to future tenant space. In that case you are supposed to model it as fully occupied.
