I've been trying to find a confirming statement that either includes or excludes furniture/systems furniture from the daylight calculations of IEQc8.1, but have not been successful. The visual examples in the reference guide do not include furniture, however, there are several text references regarding the color and reflectance of the surfaces as factors in the calculations.
IEQc8.2 clearly includes furniture in the view calculations, can anyone provide guidance on 8.1 for calculating daylight?
It might be helpful to note that the systems furniture will be included in the project in other credits and may even be used as an ID credit.
Thank-you!

Tiffany, it is always a good practice to include the furniture if you have the information, especially if you have furniture that impact significantly to the calculation such as 5' partition/high cubicle.

Hi,
It's says clearly in the guide 2009, for the daylight calculations of IEQc8.1, you don't have to considered in any kind of space.
