Hi,
I think I know the answer to this but can the number of FTEs vary between showers and other fixture groups or should they be consistent? I know the amount of showers required depend on the number of FTEs (0.5%) and the same for the Total Daily Uses, but can the FTEs depend on fixture types?
Thanks,

Hi Rodrigo,
In short, it is possible to assign different FTE counts to different fixture groups. There are many examples where a unique circumstance would dictate that only a percentage of FTEs would have access to or utilize a specific fixture. As an example, in my company we can opt into a wellness program. Those who opt in have access to a gym in the building (and the associated shower/changing rooms), whereas those who do not opt in to the wellness program are not permitted to use the gym. In this case, I would only assign to the shower those FTE who are in the program.
When you have specific program drivers like this, you just need to use a non-default daily use number that reflects the circumstance, and provide a narrative that explains why a non-default number is used. This approach generally works provided the numbers you use align with your narrative description.
