Considering fruitful trees, to attend the credit area requirements can we count the area of the tree canopy, the actual growing area, considering adult size of the trees (> 3 years)?

What are the trees? I want to understand how much space they take up.

I understand the requirements for trees as the total area where they will be planted, i.e. the entire area where they grow is included in the area required.
Determining the area for a single tree is more difficult, therefore it is easier to group them together, which gives a specific area.

What about when the tree canopy, and therefore the "growing area" extends over the project boundary? Can this area be included in the credit or is only the area in the project boundary relevant?
