WELL's Intent for feature 82 Individual Thermal Comfort is: To maximize and personalize thermal comfort among all occupants.
We are having mixed interpretations of what "free address" is for this feature. If the client is intending to have the ability for any employee to sit at any workstation because they are all set up in the same universal manor, but want project teams to sit together, is that still "free address"? Additionally, all employees will have pedestals which do not need to be moved at the end of each day, but can remain at a desk as long as they choose.

Hi Carina,
I think that because the intent is to provide occupants the ability to move to desks at which they are more comfortable, it is a function of space use in addition to a design that accommodates free address. If, in your instance, individuals are required to sit in specific seats, then free address is not met. Remember also that only 50% of occupants need that ability, so it may be possible to achieve depending on the number of "project teams" required to sit together at a given time.
