Is all solid wood considered inherently non-emitting? I’ve seen sources that say only solid wood flooring counts as inherently non-emitting.

I'm looking for a certification that tells me if a given product will meet the LEED v4 requirements, but I don't see one in a given product area. Am I missing something?

Flooring under LEED v4 - Less stringent than LEED v3?

For LEED v4, so long as the flooring is tested for TVOC under General Emissions Evaluation (CDPH 1.1), it appears to comply complies. It feels as if flooring under LEED v4 is less stringent than LEED v3, as there are no actual limits on the flooring materials.
Has flooring really gotten less stringent? If yes, is there a reason why LEED has undertaken the path of only testing TVOC under General Emissions Evaluation?

Hi! No, the general emissions evaluation requires BOTH meeting CDPH standard method AND total VOC emissions disclosure. It's not either/or. FloorScore (hard surface) or Green Label Plus (soft surface) is a good way to meet the general emissions evaluation for flooring products.

Hi Neil - Floorscore is a certification that is based on the CDPH emission standard method (AKA California 01350 Standard).  In the LEM calculator you select the CDPH standard.
