NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Dear All,

I am working on a project that has Co-generation. I have a doubt in filling the EAp2-5 Table columns corresponding to Baseline and Proposed Columns. This is because the % savings corresponding to each end use category may vary depending on the selection of kWh/Therms. This becomes crucial as the % savings in costs would also be influenced by this selection between kWh & Therms. I am not sure whether EAp2-5 Table automatically makes the transformation taking this fact into account in % cost savings estimates.

Which version of the form are you using? In general with cogen you would list the natural gas consumption in EAp2-5 in the proposed. You would then enter the electrical savings in Section 1.7. So no worries about comparing different fuels in EAp2-5.
