Fiber Optic Cable for Light Pollution

Hi All,

I have a question about how to check the compliance for "Fiber Optic Cable". My project plans to apply the cable to some outdoor landscape area, but we wonder how to check it's uplight and light-trespass compliance for this credit.

Please help!

Thanks.

The question may not matter if it's landscape lighting.  The second exemption is: "lighting that is used solely for façade and landscape lighting in MLO lighting zones 3 and 4, and is automatically turned off from midnight until 6 a.m.;" If it is still applicable, are these just fiber optic cables loose or do they terminate into a fixture?  I've never used fiber optic lighting outside before.  I'm not sure what options there are to know how it is typically used.  Is the location Cleveland? What is the manufacturer? Are they aiming light up or down or just glowing in every direction?
