Is all solid wood considered inherently non-emitting? I’ve seen sources that say only solid wood flooring counts as inherently non-emitting.

Factory-finished docklevellers

Hello,

In our project (distribution center), the contractor wants to build in factory-finished docklevellers. Since they are part of the floor, I would like to ask if the exception for factory-finished metals would be applicable?

Hi Agata- While dock levelers are recessed into the floor, they're considered equipment/ not flooring, therefore wouldn't be covered by this credit. So, no exceptions needed.
