This project had several challenges related to exterior noise, it is in a busy area near downtown and at the time exposed to higher than typical noise levels from the exhaust system serving an underground roadway. We conducted a noise study at the site and based on the measurements established STC ratings for the window and exterior building envelope to successfully meet the interior noise level criteria required.
