Exterior lighting

Hi all,
I'm working on a commercial building which have a big terrace that is covered by the building roof.
How can I consider the exterior lighting in the terrace, like Sales Canopies - Free standing and attached?

Definately not a sales canopy, this is a totally different function. I would say a special feature area.

What if the terrace is used as a dining area for a restaurant during the summer season? What lighting power density shall be used?
