We are working on a school building, the second floor contains an exterior corridor that cotains roof overhang. Would the square footage of this space be counted in the gross floor area of the building for Plf3 (space usage type) form.
We have included in the total squre footage but have noted it as "unconditioned space".

LEED uses an ASHRAE definition of gross floor area (see hyperlink).
That definition says we should "Exclude non‐enclosed (or non‐enclosable) roofed‐over areas such as exterior covered walkways..." so it sounds like your exterior corridor would not be included in the gross floor area.
