For non-HC or School projects, does this credit cover EXTERIOR composite wood? Credit requirements and Ref. Guide don't appear to explicitly say interior only, as they do for other product categories (paints & coatings; adhesives & sealants; insulation, per LEED addendum).
My hunch is that exterior composite wood (with phenol formaldehyde) would like comply anyway or be exempt from the CARB standard, but it would be good to clarify this so design teams and contractors have clear marching orders. THANKS!

Except for Healthcare and Schools, exterior composite wood (and anything outside the weatherproofing) is exempt.

Does this mean exterior composite wood must comply for HC and schools LEED v4 BD+C projects?
