Existing Laboratory Equipment

Ok - consensus has been and reviewers have supported that existing base building HVAC and central plant systems are exempt from this prereq. Now, does anyone know if reused equipment - laboratory freezers, etc. are also exempt? I haven't reviewed an inventory yet, but it could be that some are over 0.5 lbs of refrigerant.

Hi Michele, Were you able to find any information or guidance about this? My instinct would be that electing to reuse CFC-containing equipment would not meet the prerequisite intent.
