Exemplary performance when exemption applies

Hi,

we are currently evaluating daylight compliance of a building in which the majority of regularly occupied spaces has less than 250 sf. According to LEED Interpretation ID##100002149:

1. spaces smaller than 250 sf are exempt from the ASE requirement;
2. buildings with global ASE score lower than 10% are eligible for an Exemplary Performance point.

In our particular case, global ASE score is lower than 10% (mainly due to the majority of the building area that is exempt of ASE criteria). In this case, are we still eligible to the Exemplary Performance point?
