Exemplary Performance Threshold a Core & Shell Project

Is the threshold for exemplary performance for a CS project 20 EPDs? I assume that both the 1 pt threshold reduction logic (from 20 to 10) applies to the exemplary performance threshold (40 to 20) but looking to confirm. Any help is appreciated.

You are correct. The January 2020 LEED v4.1 BD+C reference guide states: Exemplary Performance Option 1: Purchase at least 40 qualifying permanently installed building products from ten different manufacturers that meet the credit criteria (Purchase at least 20 products from five different manufacturers for Core and Shell and Warehouse & Distribution Centers).
