Exemplary performance?

The Reference Guide says "this credit is not eligible for exemplary performance...." However, the LEED Online Form (form v4) has a line item for "SS Credit 2: Development Density and Community Connectivity Exemplary Performance Documented:". So is there an ID point available?? or not?

There is an exemplary performance available for Option 1 by either doubling the surrounding area average density with the building itself or by doubling the density and size of the surrounding area from the base requirements. There is no exemplary performance for Option 2.
