Regarding Electric water Heater, is there any equation to calculate the EWH energy factor to compare the result with the equation of ASHRAE 90.1-2007...EFmin = 0.97* − (0.00132 × V).

The EWH manufacturer cannot provide the EF is there any equation to calculate the EF of the proposed EWH ?

Thanks for the clarification. Not that I am aware of. I have never heard of a manufacturer that could not provide this information. If they cannot provide it then you cannot attain LEED certification. Meeting the minimum equipment efficiency is a mandatory provision and all LEED projects must meet the mandatory provisions or you cannot earn the prerequisite.
