Do all EV spaces required to be available to the general public? We are working on a project with parking spaces located within a restricted access area that will not be accessible to the general public.

Each type of parking should have EV spaces - so there should be EV spaces in the restricted access area, as well as in any non-restricted access areas if provided.

We've been successful with ensuring the percentage threshold has been met for total parking - and were not required to distribute to the various parking areas of the project.
GBCI seems to be a little leniant on this one....at least on some of our projects.
Anyone receive other direction from their LEED reviews?
Thanks!

I had it stuck in my brain that EV stations had to be proportionately distributed if there was restricted/assigned parking. Looking back through the v4 Reference Guide, I see these requirements for preferred parking but nothing about the EV station locations. v4.1 doesn't seem to address it at all either. Has anyone had consistent success NOT proportionately allocating?
