We have a project that is seeking certification. It shares parking with existing buildings on its campus. The project has capacity for EV parking that would meet the entire campus parking 6% reuqirement. However, the garage is existing and it does not currently have raceways in place. When those spots are installed, it plans to install overhead raceways. In order to meet EV ready, would a committment from the campus owner (who is certifying one of their buildings) to provide this racways be sufficient since it is an existing garage?

Hi Jill, I've gotten comments in v2009 saying that future installation commitments are not acceptable. But if you're able to provide a design drawing for the installation and a specific timeline for the raceway construction, that should help you make a better argument for it.
