EV Charger has demand response capability but is not Energy Star

Hi All,

To clarify language for this credit, does "Meet the connected functionality criteria for ENERGY STAR certified EVSE and be capable of responding to time-of-use market signals (e.g. price)" mean the EV charger must be Energy Star rated? The charger specified on this project has demand response capability and communication with a building management system, but is not Energy Star rated (Siemens Versicharge). Would this meet the credit requirement?

In response to my own question... the connected functionality criteria is mentioned in the Energy Star requirements but that capability is an option and is not required for Energy Star certification. So not all Energy Star EV chargers have this capability, and likewise, there are non-Energy Star chargers that DO have this capability.
