Pilot-Credits EQpc44:Ergonomics approach for computer users

Ergonomic Standards

Is there a website to view the ergonomic standards for workstations (BIFMA G1-2013, ANSI/HFES 100-2007, CSA Z412-00, ISO 9241-5:1998) without paying a fee?

You have to purchase the full BIFMA standards, but I have found a summary online through search.

Hi Brenda, I had difficulty finding information on these standards as well. However, our ergonomist was able to successfully analyze our design and FF&E potential specifications based on ANSI/HFES 100-2007. The best idea seems to be engaging the ergonomist and requesting they provide analysis based on one or more of the standards, per the credit requirements.
