NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

eQUEST DOE2.3 for LEED V4 EAp2 and EAc1

Hello Everyone,

We are working on couple of LEED New Construciton projects with all elctric commercial buildings that will be designed with VRFs heating, cooling and ventilation system. We are exploring using DOE2.3 silulation engine within eQUEST. Is DOE-2.3 acceptable for LEED EAp2 submission as it is still in under development? Does anyone submitt project using DOE-2.3 and have approval from LEED?

Thanks!

Vipul

eQUEST is one of the mostly commonly used software for LEED submissions. I believe the newest version still meets the requirements for the software contained in ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Appendix G Section G2.2.
