EQpc123- Designing with Nature, Biophilic Design for the Indoor Environment

We pursued the Pilot credit Designing with Nature, Biophilic Design for the Indoor Environment on a new elementary school and were able to highlight all of the natural elements and focus on how those design features impact the learning environment. Reviewing the 14 patterns of biophilic design gave the designer great insight on how each of these elements ultimately impacts the way in which the occupant responds to the space and how it can impact their learning capabilities within the space. In an elementary school, this is so important to ensure the educational experience is exceptional.
