I am working through the prescriptive calculations for daylighting for a 64,312 sq ft open floor manufacturing facility where the exposed roof deck is 41'-6" above the finished floor. This one wing of the entire building, the other two wings will be treated in a similar manner.. The design of this wing has (49) 4'x4' skylights evenly dispersed. At a height of 41'-6" we get even daylight coverage on 98% of the manufacturing floor. Unfortunately, the skylight roof coverage is only 1.2%. In order to comply for this credit, do I proceed with the Alternate Compliance Path explaining that the height of the roof deck allows 98% daylight coverage even though skylight roof coverage is less than 3%? I would also upload floor plans showing the calculated daylight coverage.

Kendal,
You will not comply with requirement. Minimum skylight roof ratio affects the illuminance level in the room.
