Hi Jana,
I don't exactly know. It's not clear to me what category epoxy flooring would fall. If you review the requirements under Option 1 none of them really stand out as applicable for epoxy flooring. Although, one could always do testing under Option 2.
What do the other LEEDuser.com users think?
Thanks,
Lauren

Hi everybody.
I would like to revisit this question too...
A) Is it necessary to evaluate underground parking flooring that is part of the building under this EQc4 credits?
B) If so, do you think evaluating every layer of the epoxy flooring system separatelly for purposes of EQc4 credits might be the right sollution?
For example PU parking systems consist of a
1) PU primer(EQc4.1-sealant primer, architectural, porous 775g/L),
2) PU membrane (EQc4.1-roadway sealant and/or EQc4.2-waterproofing sealer - both 250g/L),
3) epoxy coating with silica sand (EQc4.2, EQc4.3-floor coating 100g/L), and
4) finish coating (EQc4.2, EQc4.3-floor coating 100g/L).
Is that correct?
