Hello,

I have a question in relation to achieving exemplary performance in the Environmental Product Declarations credit in the In LEED V4 BD+C. To achieve 1 point for exemplary performance is it necessary to reach the exemplary performance thresholds for both option 1 and option 2 in the credit?

Hello Shane,  No, you do not have to reach the exemplary performance thresholds for both option 1 and option 2 in the credit to achieve exemplary performance in the Environmental Product Declarations credit in the In LEED V4 BD+C. You can independently meet the requirement of option 1 or option 2, as per it fits your project.  Thanks!

Does exemplary performance mean an extra point in this case? So, if pursuing option 1 (1 pt), and I have >40 EPD products, should I account for 2 points at this credit?

Exemplary performance means an extra point, but the project has to attempt exemplary performane via Innovation credit. This credit for Option 1 is counted for 1 point. An additional point can be achieved under Innovation credit for achieving exemplary performance for a base credit.
