Do the required savings for this prerequisite (and credit) need to come only from building energy, or also process loads?

CI-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Envelope of a restaurant in an existing building

I'm working in a restaurant to be located in a space contained in an existing building. This space has 2 facades to outdoor space, but the owner don't let us modify any element of the existing facade. So... Do we need to meet the envelope conditions of this minimum energy performance? Or do you think that the envelope is out of the project scope? Thank you

The envelop is outside the project scope so you do not need to meet the prescriptive requirements.
