Hello,
We want to use a building envelope CxA that is an employee of the same firm that is responsible for the engineering of the building. The project is a design build and we are following the 10244 interpretation. The enhanced CxA will not be a member of the design team as required by the interpretation. The building comissioning agent will report directly to the enhanced comisionning angent. However, I am wondering if the CxA agent would then be considered "independant" or if someone from an external firm would have to do the envelope comissionning?
