Entryway systems and primary direction

Hello,

Under option 2 - Entryway systems, we need to put in place 10 feet elements in the primary direction of travel.
In our project, people enter and can travel in 2 different directions (right or left), without having one more important than the other.
In this case, do we have to put in 2 mats of 10 feet (in the 2 directions) or can we put in only one mat of 10 feet centred on the entrance?

Hi Audrey,
You can put in only one mat of 10 feet centered on the entrance. Please note that you need to put permanent entryway systems at every regularly used exterior entrances. So if you have more than one regularly used exterior entrance, then those entrances should also have permanent entryway systems at least 10 feet long.
