CI-v4 EAc1:Enhanced commissioning

the enhanced commissioning credit - the air tightness test

Hello,

I'd like to ask about LEED certification regarding the envelope commissioning (option 2) of the energy and atmosphere credit, and I'd like to know if you can enlighten me on the following points:

- Is it necessary to have the N50 or Q4Pa_surf air change rate values, or is it sufficient to carry out the air tightness test (blower door test) independently of the value?

- If the N50 value is required, what are the admissible values for N50 air exchange rates in the case of a hotel for LEED Certification?

It has been my experience that the LEED reviewer will not dictate the specifics of the envelope test but rather confirm that tests on the envelope are conducted. The 'Further Explanation' section of the reference guide provides guidance while not dictating specifics of each test, this is left up to the professional advice of the Envelope Commissioning Provider.
