I am working on EB Project in LEED V4. In V4 the advance sub-metering is required
1. Chilled water System: Chiller and Chilled water pumps
2. Condenser Water Pumps: Cooling tower, Condenser water pumps
3. Air Handling unit- Supply fans, return fan, damper motor
i just want to know that each air handling unit have separate electrical meter or one meter for all Air handling unit.
also, want to know that if HVAC Have a single meter having AHU, PUMP, Cooling tower and Chiller then can i eligible to take this credit.

Hi Vishesh,
To be clear, do each of the systems that you list above constitute more than 20% of the building annual energy use after removing plug load consumption? If so, then you will need to meter those systems.
With respect to the AHU, it would be acceptable to install a single meter to monitor energy use for all of the AHUs. However, it would not be a compliant strategy to apply a single meter for the AHUs, pumps, chiller, and cooling tower. The credit wants teams to have separate metering for different systems so that the building team can zero in on issues with a specific system or opportunities to improve efficiency/performance.
