How do Fire stations qualify for Energy Star ratings? Do we need a year’s of supporting data to show the building energy consumption to be 123 kBtu/Sqft or less to certify under LEED-EB: O&M?

Kath, I don't think that fire stations qualify under Case 1, since they are not eligible for an Energy Star rating. It seems like you need to be using Case 2.

I second that this doesn't sound like a Case 1 (Energy Star) situation, but would be require benchmarking according to Case 2. You can download the related calculator from LEED Online or the Registered Projects Tools page. In any case, all of the cases require 12 months of energy data from all sources.
