I know that it has been asked if previously purchased equipment is exempt from this credit but I'm curious if it can be counted if the relocated equipment is compliant?

I am not sure how this works but I would think that you should either count only the new equipment only or count all of the equipment. It certainly does not sound fair to be able to pick and choose, adding that which benefits you and not include that which does not.

Yes, I'm wanting to count all of it - new and existing. The tenant is relocating so much equipment so it seems the right way to handle it. Thoughts?

I think that is the right way to go. The credit language does not specify "new" and has changed a bit from 2009 leading me to think the intent was to include all equipment to be installed.
