Hi! We did some parameter studies in the early stage of the design process. Now i am wondering if we can use them for documentation of this credit. The criteria language in this credit says that "Assess at least two potential strategies associated with the following: -Site conditions -Massing and orientation -...etc." We did not look into site conditions and massing since this was set from the beginning. Furthermore we did not analyse plug loads since this is not part of our contract (we do not design process equipment). But we looked into Envelope attributes , i.e. window sizes, and in addition programmatic and operational parameters. The comfort range was not looked into because that was specified by client. Could we still get a point for this credit? Thanks!

Maybe. If you have fixed conditions then you should analyze ones that are not fixed. The idea is to inform the design. Did it? Make any changes to what you normally do? The changes are not required but the analysis should be thorough enough to consider the holistic implications of the design changes.
You had to do a similar analysis for water saving strategies as well to earn the credit.

Thankyou Marcus. The credit evaluation seems a little bit vague, and therefore we will not count this into our LEED strategy. However, we have surely conducted more parameter studies on this project than you would normally expect on a similar project. But of course only in those topics that are not fixed!
