Kindly request for any advise on VisDOE limitation concerning large buildings. I'm working on a mixed use project that is first of all odd shaped with a gross area 3,969,058 sqft. Im using Visual DOE 4 .
Im finding it difficult to run the model due to limitations (Interior wall)
The project is provisioned with the 6 working centrifugal chillers.
Please suggest an alternate way to modeling in Visdoe.
Additionally,it is allowed by LEED to undertake split modeling in two parts by assigning three chiller for each model and then finally merge the result?
Information on any other options for modeling in Visual DOE would be most appreciated.

This software is not used for LEED certifications very often. Software specific questions are probably best addressed to a general building simulation group or one specific to the software. A general one would be BLDG-SIM at onebuilding.org and it looks like Visual DOE had a Yahoo groups discussion group.

We mostly use eQUEST. We have run into some limitation issue with it as well. There are discussion of these limitations in the eQUEST-Users list serve at onebuilding.org. I am not sure which software has the fewest limitations but they all do have some.
