Energy modeling for the LEED ND

Good morning everyone,
I have to do building energy modeling for the LEED ND v4 rating system.Can one use the same modeling software as BD+C v4? Or are there specific software for Neighborhood ?
Should all buildings be modeled together?

Hi Gloria. You can use the BD+C software for an ND project, as there is no ND-specific software. Buildings of the same type (new construction, major renovation, or core and shell) may be grouped into separate models. Analyzing all buildings in a single model is ok if the type is consistent across a project, or if the team wants to achieve the average improvement required by GIBp Minimum Building Energy Perforamce. The ND v4 Reference Guide has detailed info on modeling in Appendix 4 - Building Energy Performance Guidelines. Eliot
