NC-v4.1 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Energy French regulation equivalence

Hi everyone,

I'm new with LEED but I have some experience in English BREEAM and French HQE. In LEED the energy performance is based on ASHRAE; in France we don't use ASHRAE but we have a comprehensive energy regulation called "RT2012" (which will become soon "RE2020").

My question is: does LEED authorize some equivalence between ASHRAE and local regulation like RT2012? I couldn't find the answer so far.

Thank you

Axel

Hello, No one? No equivalence possible?

Equavalency is possible but it requires a pretty complex process of comparision which an individual project will not likely be able to take on. Some guidance is contained in the European Alternative Compliance Paths document - https://www.usgbc.org/resources/leed-v4-bdc-alternative-compliance-paths-europe-april-2018  which references this table - https://www.usgbc.org/resources/europe-regional-acp-ashrae-901-2010-mandatory-provisions-leed-v4

Hello, is there a newer document that I can refer too?
The first link is null.
Thanks in advance !

Not sure what happened to the previous link, there appears to be some junk on the end of it. https://www.usgbc.org/resources/leed-v4-bdc-alternative-compliance-paths-europe-april-2018
