Is anyone aware of any type of equivalency between Energy Efficiency Classes (A+, A, B, C, D, E) and Energy Star?
Energy Star appliances are not common in Europe, but as far as I know A classified are much more efficient than Energy Star. Has anyone confirmed?
I have seen "EU Energy Star" but it only certifies electronic equipment, not appliances.

Gustavo, I'm not aware of any equivalence. I think it would take formal study, which I'm not aware has been done. I will ask around, though.

It looks like there is an ACP for Europe which allows the following standards in place of Energy Star: TCO, Blue Angel and EU Energy Star,

You may need to submit a formal inquiry to address equivalency for the specifics with regards to the European Union Energy Label.
